Club’s first trial
On January 15 and 16, 2022, the club had its first two-day event, a UKI style fun run followed by a UKI trial.
The fun run courses were designed by our Vice President Liz Randall. Attendees enjoyed fun and challenging courses, a barbecue lunch and a raffle with great prizes. We had around 60 entries and heard a lot of positive feedback from attendees.
The next day we had the very first UKI trial in San Diego County. We had the pleasure to have Roger Ly as our judge. The trial was attended by around 60 handlers and their dogs, and more than 300 runs were entered.
Thank you to all our club members who worked tirelessly both days to ensure our first event ran smoothly.We will continue to host UKI trials. Our next one is on May 15 and 16, 2022 with Lori Michaels as the judge.
